1. Clifton Suspension Bridge
The Clifton Suspension Bridge is the most popular and iconic landmark of Bristol and is a marvel of engineering that has stood the test of time since it was built in 1864 by the famous engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It is the most popular place to visit in Bristol and your visit simply isn’t complete until you have been there and enjoyed the view of the city during the day and night if you can fit two visits in!
There is a free visitor centre on the other side if you cross from the Clifton side of the Bridge where you can learn more about the bridge and its history.
